Surya Abhishekam is a sacred ritual dedicated to Lord Surya (Sun God), symbolizing health, vitality, clarity, and illumination—both inner and outer. It’s especially powerful for removing Graha Doshas (especially Surya Dosha), gaining energy, relief from eye or bone ailments, and enhancing leadership and confidence.

Items Needed for Surya Abhishekam

• Surya Yantra or idol/photo (can be a copper plate with Surya carved)

• Kalasha with water and mango or tulsi leaves

• Panchamrita – Milk, Curd, Ghee, Honey, Banana

• Other Abhisheka Items:

  • Pure water

  • Tender coconut water

  • Red sandal paste

  • Rosewater

  • Turmeric (optional)

• Red or orange flowers

• Naivedyam – Jaggery, wheat, fruits (like oranges), water

• Incense sticks, camphor, lamp, betel leaves
