🌺 Rama Navami Pooja – The Divine Birth of Maryada Purushottama Sri Rama
📖 What is Rama Navami?
Rama Navami is the sacred festival that marks the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It falls on the ninth day (Navami) of Shukla Paksha in the month of Chaitra (March–April), which also concludes the Chaitra Navratri.
It is a celebration of the ideal human being (Maryada Purushottama)—a king, son, brother, husband, and devotee who upheld righteousness in every aspect of life.
🌿 Spiritual Significance:
- Victory of Dharma: Lord Rama’s life is a beacon of truth, dharma, and selfless service.
- Descent of Vishnu: Rama is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who took birth to vanquish evil (especially Ravana) and protect dharma.
- Inspiration for Devotees: Celebrating Rama Navami rekindles our commitment to virtues like humility, duty, devotion, and compassion.
