🌟 Janmashtami Pooja – The Divine Birth of Lord Krishna

📖 What is Janmashtami?

Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, the 8th incarnation of Lord Vishnu, born to Devaki and Vasudeva in a prison in Mathura to vanquish evil and restore righteousness. It is observed on the eighth day (Ashtami) of Krishna Paksha in the month of Shravana or Bhadrapada (August–September).

This sacred night signifies the arrival of divine joy, truth, and eternal wisdom into our lives.

🪔 Spiritual Significance:

  • Divine Descent: Krishna’s birth represents the descent of God whenever adharma (unrighteousness) rises.
  • Symbol of Bhakti and Leela: Lord Krishna is revered as the perfect master of karma, bhakti, and jnana.
  • Inner Awakening: His birth at midnight symbolizes light emerging from the darkness of ignorance.
