🙏 Satyanarayan Puja Vidhi (Rituals)

🌅 1. Preparation

  • Clean the house and take a bath.
  • Set up a clean altar with:
    • An idol or image of Lord Satyanarayan (Vishnu)
    • A picture of Lakshmi may also be included.
  • Decorate with flowers, banana leaves, mango leaves, and rangoli.

📿 2. Puja Samagri (Essential Items)

  • Kalash (water pot) with mango leaves and coconut
  • Fruits (especially bananas), sweets, betel leaves, supari
  • Incense sticks, diya, sandalwood paste, turmeric, kumkum
  • Panchamrit (milk, honey, curd, sugar, and ghee)
  • Tulsi leaves, puffed rice, roasted wheat flour halwa or sheera

🛕 3. Main Puja Steps

  1. Ganesh Puja – Invoke Lord Ganesha to remove obstacles.

  3. Lord Vishnu Worship – Offer flowers, kumkum, turmeric, incense, diya, fruits, and sweets.
  4. Panchamrit Abhishekam – Bathe the idol/picture with panchamrit, then clean with water and decorate.
