Pushpavathi Puja is a Hindu religious ritual (usually associated with South Indian traditions) that is performed to pray for marital bliss, fertility, or overall prosperity. Sometimes it’s done after marriage or when seeking blessings for family growth.
In terms of age for attending:
Traditionally, women of marriageable age or married women (often above 16–18 years) perform or attend the puja.
Young girls (even from age 5–6) can also participate, especially if the family includes them for blessings and early exposure to religious practices.
Elders (grandmothers, mothers) play an important role too — guiding or blessing.
Men usually are not the primary participants but may attend respectfully, depending on the family tradition.
