🌞 Navagraha Puja
(Worship of the Nine Celestial Planets for Cosmic Balance and Well-being)
🪔 Introduction:
Navagraha Puja is a sacred Vedic ritual performed to appease the nine celestial bodies (Grahas) that influence human life according to Jyotish Shastra (Vedic astrology). These planets not only affect the physical world but also govern karma, destiny, and life events. When their positions are favorable, life progresses smoothly; when imbalanced or afflicted, they can cause obstacles.
This puja helps pacify malefic planets, enhance the influence of benefic ones, and bring about peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth.
🌟 The Nine Planets (Navagrahas):
- Surya (Sun) – Power, authority, health
- Chandra (Moon) – Mind, emotions, stability
- Mangal (Mars) – Energy, strength, courage
- Budha (Mercury) – Intelligence, communication
- Guru (Jupiter) – Wisdom, wealth, dharma
- Shukra (Venus) – Love, beauty, luxury
- Shani (Saturn) – Karma, discipline, justice
- Rahu (North Node) – Desire, ambition, illusion
- Ketu (South Node) – Spirituality, detachment, past karma
🎯 Purpose of Navagraha Puja:
- To neutralize negative planetary effects (graha doshas)
- For success in career, marriage, education, and health

- To enhance the benefic effects of favorable planets
