📜 Tulsidas Jayanti Pooja

(Worship of Saint Tulsidas – The Composer of Ramcharitmanas)

🌟 Introduction:

Tulsidas Jayanti is celebrated to honor the birth anniversary of Sant Goswami Tulsidas Ji, the great 16th-century Hindu saint, poet, and philosopher. Born on Shravan Shukla Saptami, Tulsidas is most renowned for composing the Ramcharitmanas, a devotional retelling of the Ramayana in Awadhi language, which brought Lord Rama’s divine story to the masses.

He was also the composer of the powerful Hanuman Chalisa, revered in millions of households across India and beyond. Tulsidas Jayanti is not only a day of honoring a saint but a celebration of devotion (bhakti), poetic wisdom, and divine grace.

  • His works are non-sectarian, filled with bhakti rasa and moral guidance, transforming the hearts of devotees.
