Vishnu Abhishekam is a serene and sacred ritual performed to honor Lord Vishnu, the sustainer of the universe and protector of dharma. It is usually performed before Vishnu idols, Saligrama stones, or Shankha Chakradhari deities in temples or homes.

Substances used include:

  • Milk and curd for purity and peace

  • Tulsi water and sandal paste as symbols of devotion and surrender
