
Archana means “offering of names” – in this case, chanting the 1,000 names (Sahasranama) of Lord Venkateswara, while offering flowers or tulasi leaves at His feet. It is a personal, intimate form of worship.

Saturday – considered especially sacred for Lord Venkateswara.
Ekadashi, Purnima, and other auspicious lunar days.
Your birthday, anniversary, or any personal milestone.
Pooja Items for Venkateswara Archana
Fresh, clean Tulasi (holy basil) leaves for offering with each name.
Fragrant flowers like jasmine, lotus, rose, or chrysanthemum.
Optional if you don’t have Tulasi – or you can use both.
Traditional lamp with ghee or sesame oil and cotton wicks.
For purifying the atmosphere and during aarti.
Used for offering during sankalpa and blessings.
A mix of milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar.
Any fresh fruit (banana, apple, etc.) or sweet (laddu, kesari, etc.) for offering.
You’ll need the Vishnu Sahasranamam or Venkateswara Namavali for chanting.
